Currently Reading: Convictions

I've been sick for a week and a half; first with a cold, and now with mild food poisoning. So not only have I had plenty of time to sit around the house feeling bad for myself I've also had time for reading. I'm not sure how interesting this book would be to most people but I find it very engaging. It is a memoir by Oregon's Attorney General about his time as a federal prosecutor in New York. Having had a brief stint as a prosecutor, I find this book completely relatable and very engaging.

  1. That sounds interesting actually. When you were a prosecutor, what types of cases did you work on? Did you not like working on that side of things? Is that why it was brief? I've heard it's pretty exhausting work and the pay is probably comparable to any public servant: not worth the amount of work you do.

  2. That was actually the volunteer job that I had a few months ago and I LOVED it! If there were any available jobs here doing it and they wanted to hire me, I would do it in a heartbeat!
