Something New: Make Sushi

For Christmas the cat got us a sushi making kit. So sweet! So dear! What a thoughtful cat! A few weeks ago we pulled it out, made and seasoned the rice, read the booklet, chopped the veggies and fish, laid out our ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce, made some cocktails and got to rolling. The results - disgusting fishy rice balls, a total bust. I don't know why I assumed that just because it looks easy to make sushi that it is easy to make sushi. Before we attempt this again, I think some research might be in order.
