I love figs, and the season here seems to be far too short. Plain, with cheese, honey, baked, or jammed - I'm pro fig. I have a bowl full and a friend with a tree offering me as many as I want, I just need to figure out what to do with them. Maybe now is the time to make my foray into canning?
Yes. Totally. And once you get enough cucumbers, you can pickle/can those, too! Just don't become a pickler:
