Over Memorial Day weekend Guy and I went to the zoo. It was cloudy, cool and completely packed, yet it was absolutely perfect.
The animals were out and active instead of tucked away sleeping.
After having his nails cleaned the elephant took a bow.
The cats were recently reintroduced in a new and improved living space. Needless to say I was smitten.
One thing I love about our zoo is that it is constantly updating the animal's living quarters.
Despite usually being a bit weary of birds I let a lorikeet drink from my hand.
I'm glad the roar is back!
How fun! I haven't been to the zoo in AGESSSSSS.
